Don't be a slave to your mind
The stoic philosopher Seneca once said- “The body should be treated more rigorously, that it may not be disobedient to the mind.”
How many of you know that to relive from all your problems all you have to do is not be a slave to your mind.
Do you remember the last time you gave into your temptations and felt bad about to immediately afterwards. Going through a life moping to be free from all of those things controlling you while all you have to do is just not do it. All you had to do is just not give into your temptations.
I’ll tell you how to gain control over your thoughts and temptations.
You just have to practice mindfulness. Gently observe your thoughts without passing judgment and create a sense of detachment. It's vital to remember that thoughts are transient occurrences, not accurate representations of reality. Concentrate on managing your actions and responses, acknowledging the aspects beyond your control. Cultivating self-discipline is key, ultimately empowering you to shape your journey.
